2205 Duplex Steel fasteners
Duplex 2205 material, whose “Duplex” name is derived from the mixed microstructure which contains roughly equal portions of ferrite and austenite. This grade is the most popular variety and is a two-phase material containing 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum, 5 to 6% nickel alloyed steel. This grade is a significant upgrade from 316 stainless steel in terms of both yield strength and corrosion resistance.

2507 Duplex Steel fasteners
Super Duplex 2507 is a stainless steel with 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel. Super Duplex 2507 is particularly well suited for use in environments such as warm chlorinated seawater and acidic, chloride containing media. It has similiar properties to Duplex 2205 but is more corrosion resistant and performs well in moderately corrosive environments.

Four Properties of Duplex Steel Fasteners
Duplex steel fasteners use Duplex steel as raw materials. Duplex steel fastener has four properties.1. High temperature resistance. For high hardness, the fastener has strong oxidation resistance. It cannot work under high temperature and cannot be interfered by high temperature. If the fasteners is passivated after being made out, the temperature resistance will be better.
2. Physical properties. Duplex steel fasteners has higher specific resistance. The specific resistance of Duplex steel is higher than that of carbon steel by five times. Standard parts have an expansion factor. Through experiment, if the temperature is higher, the expansion factor of Duplex steel fasteners will be improved definitely.
3. Stress capacity. Duplex steel fasteners can endure moderate stress. Although it cannot be compared favorably with high strength bolt, the fasteners can still meet the common requirements.
4. Mechanical properties. High rust resistance and corrosion resistance have close relationship with the features of Duplex steel. For standard parts developing constantly, mechanical properties of Duplex steel fasteners will be enhanced further.
